About Me
Hello, my name is Lilakshi. I am a mother to 4 daughters (3 in school & 1 preschooler excited to welcome new friends to our dayhome).
As a parent, I know how important it is to provide the best care for your child. I’ve always found the passion to be around children. Hence, I’ve worked to become a certified early childhood educator and now have committed to 14 years of experience in childcare.
In my Montessori & Dayhome, I make it a goal to provide a fun, loving and nurturing home to your child and encourage them to grow, learn and be inspired at their own pace.
Safety is my utmost priority. I keep myself up to date with all the necessary safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for your child.
I follow a daily schedule to keep my children active, engaging and away from the internet/TV. I take them to local parks many times a week and involve them in all kinds of fun and educational activities.

Alberta Government Childcare Certificate - Level 1
Montessori Early Childhood Certificate - Canada
Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED
Police Clearance Certificate - Canada
Previous work experience in daycare centres in Calgary, AB

What I Offer

I accept children from 11 months to 6 years of age and follow the core curriculum for Montessori & Dayhome which includes:

Drop-in Service
Have to be away for a few hours? No problem! I offer short term drop-in service by request
Activities
I follow a schedule filled with various activities throughout the day which includes arts & crafts, puzzles, storytime and indoor/outdoor activities
Meals
I ensure a healthy nutritious homemade meal is provided daily for all my children
Safety
Safety is my utmost priority. My Montessori & Dayhome is equipped with multiple cameras and monitored 24/7 to maintain an enhanced level of security.
I maintain a high standard of safety and have made all areas of my Montessori & Dayhome a child-safe environment.
Environment
My Montessori & Dayhome is a smoke-free and a pet-free environment with cleaning & sanitization is done on a daily basis
